Recently [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paris Hilton[/lastfm] conducted an interview with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lil Wayne [/lastfm]for Interview Magazine. During the interview they had a chance to bond over their experiences in jail.
According to my sources:

For whatever reason, “Interview” magazine sent PARIS HILTON to interview LIL WAYNE for its April issue. They talked about life, family and prison. Here are a few highlights:
On Serving Time in Solitary Confinement: Wayne said, quote, “For me it was okay, because it just meant that I was alone with my thoughts.
“There were times when it was pretty tough to be by yourself, and to have no television, no sort of nothing. That was kind of tough. But I didn’t have to be in there long. It was just a month. I was okay. I did fine.”
Paris added, quote, “I had to do 24 nights in solitary . . . Yeah, I know how it is.”
(–Sort of. In June of 2007, Paris spent 23 days in jail. She got her own cell for her protection. So it wasn’t punishment, but it was still solitary. Wayne got solitary as punishment for being caught with “music contraband.”)
On Life After Jail: Wayne said, quote, “You’re definitely more in tune to what you’re doing . . . I think that most people who come out of that situation just want to make the most of life afterwards. Honestly it was just one big humbling experience.”
On Rapping About Money, Sex and Violence: Wayne said, quote, “Music is a reflection of who you are, and if those things are what your music is all about, then I guess that’s who you are. I mean, I think it’s just that simple. You have to be someone who is able to speak about different things. I speak about what I speak about, and I guess that’s because I’m a crazy-ass (N-word).”
On Their Goals for the Future: Wayne said, quote, “I want to bank a cool $50 million at least. At the end of this year, I want to be able to say that I banked $50 million. Not generated $50 million, but actually banked $50 million.” (–How relatable.)
Paris said, quote, “I’d really love to finish my album, because I’ve been working on it for so long . . . but I’ve had so many other projects that it’s hard to focus on one thing.” (–When music is a PROJECT not a PASSION, something is wrong.)
Who wouldv’e thought to put these two together and not only that? But to have Paris be the one to conduct the interview? At least the interview is getting a lot of attention because of it anyway.
