[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lil Wayne[/lastfm] plans to follow the rules of his three year probation even though he will not be in the U.S. during his South African tour. And that goes for his 50 person entourage as well.
According to HiphopDX.com:
It appears Weezy’s serious about keeping it clean for his international tour.
Lil Wayne may be bringing a 50-person entourage with him to South Africa in December, but he won’t be bringing drugs or alcohol.
Timeslive.co.za reports that Wayne intends to maintain his sobriety as required by his three-year probation for drug possession.
This approach is in start contrast to Wayne’s previous overseas touring experiences. Apparently, the New Orleans emcee demanded that bottles of Perrier-Jouët champagne, Hennessy XO Cognac and two bottles of Patron Platinum tequila be available to him while he was in a hotel suite during a tour.
I must say that I am proud of his choice to remain sober during this tour, because it will be the biggest test of his sobriety to date! Hope he passes with flying colors.
