Ice T hits the road to explore the minds of rappers for a new documentary Something From Nothing: The Art Of Rap.

The actor, gangster rapper and Body Count frontman puts on the director’s hat for this film. The trailer features Big Daddy Kane, Nas, KRS-One, Snoop Dogg and more, offering some insight into hip-hop’s roots and influences.

According to the film’s synopsis, Ice goes beyond history to delve into the thought process and perspectives of rap artists.

“This film is not about stardom, bling, or beef; it’s about craft and skill—what goes on inside the minds and erupts from the pens of rap legends,” reads the synopsis.
