TLC, one of the most successful girl groups of all time might be gearing up for a comeback. In an interview with Essence magazine coinciding with the 10 year anniversary of the death of group member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, T-Boz and Chilli, the two remaining members of TLC, hinted at the possibility.
They said they are hoping for their bio-pic to be out at the end of the year, and plan to release new music shortly thereafter.
No word yet on who will play the ladies in the movie, which was written by Kate Lanier, the writer of What’s Love Got to do With It and Set if Off. Hopefully their new music does well, as the music they released after Left Eye’s passing didn’t fare very well on the charts. There was also no word on whether they plan on adding a third member or if Chilli and T-Boz will continue to go it alone.
