We told you they were a couple to watch at this year’s VMAs. Now E! News reports the X Factor judge and One Direction member were spotted together at Harry Morton’s Pink Taco in Century City after the VMAs, sharing some intimate time over Mexican food.

Demi Lovato is maintaining her story that she is single, no matter how many tacos and Tweets the two might share. She confirmed to Simon Cowell, in an X Factor clip that’s floating around the Internet, that she hasn’t kissed the boy band member.

Cowell advised Lovato to keep away from Horan, “because he’s pure.”

Lovato takes his jabs in stride and says, “I’m not looking for anything…I’m not going to date anybody for a whole year.”

Except that taco date after the VMAs with Horan, right?

The two may just be talking X Factor. After all, the boy band were put together by Cowell on the UK version of the show. And that does seem to be what a lot of Horan’s Tweets to Lovato these days are about.
