The Alaska native knows a thing or two about cold weather. Though Kate Earl has moved from Alaska to California she still shares a love for her Alaskan roots.

While in town promoting her new release Stronger, Kate revealed her favorite holiday tune is “Baby It’s Cold Outside.”

“I believe there’s a version with Dean Martin. I really like that one,” she said.

But there is also another cover she’s fond of.

“Of course the Zooey Deschanel one is beautiful, just as good,” she said. “But there’s something about the truly older songs that I have an affinity for.”
