In 2012, Maroon 5 were fresh off their hit “Moves Like Jagger” when they released their next single “Payphone” featuring Wiz Khalifa. It was the first single off their fourth studio album ‘Overexposed’ which came out this summer.

This album is the first since the bands career had a big revival, considering their last few singles off ‘Hands All Over’ flopped as far as popularity is concerned. “Moves Like Jagger” brought the band back to life and they definitely didn’t disappoint with the release of “Payphone”. I’m sure Adam Levine being on The Voice didn’t hurt either.

In April 2012, Adam Levine and Victoria’s Secret model Anne V announced their split after about 2 years together. Some think the bands second single “One More Night” spawned from the ending of their relationship. Adam has yet to confirm this and why would he when he’s already moved on to Victoria’s Secret model #2 Behati Prinsloo. I know women around the world
