Yesterday, Perez Hilton made the announcement via his website that he has become a father. He also treated fans to a photo of the little bundle of joy, a baby boy.

Hilton wrote on his website:

“I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy – with lots of hair on his tiny head!”

“My family is overjoyed at this newest and most cherished addition.”

No details were given as to whether the 34-year-old Hilton adopted or had engaged a surrogate. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times in 2009, Hilton had told the paper that he wanted to be a father by the age of 35 and had been investigating surrogates.
